What was so bad about the reviews? The only thing I saw bad was that somebody had a problem with the screw inlays rusting. Well, duh... That just seems bound to happen eventually with regular use. Everyone else mentions how great the neck feels and how good it sounds for the money. I say, for only $150, why the hell not? I'm about tempted to order one myself...
