Tempo Track Problems - Cubase 5

I am trying to take a 30 audio clip of a steady hearbeat and make it so that is starts off at a certain beat and gradually increases speed. How can I do this? Either in Cubase 5 or Wavelab 6.

ummmm, with a tempo track? Have you tried that and had problems? if so what problems did you have?
 
Does the heartbeat go along to the tempo of the project your doing in cubase?
 
The heart beat starts off slow and gradually builds up faster. Total duration will be about 20 seconds. I will be cutting video to match the beats.

When you open the tempo track change the little box (new tempo points type) that says jump to ramp. then edit the blue line to set your tempo at the two points of the song you want it to start and end. Hope that makes sense.
