My buddy recorded a song at 300 tempo on my Motif.. (Ask me why I dont know) anyways Sonar only goes to 250bpm.... How can I record the audio to play quicker in Sonar... I was thinking to record at half tempo and double that amount... Any ideas?

Yes, I think thats the only way to do it in SONAR...

Depends on what you mean here. The audio is not tempo-dependant. But the metronome is...

Play at 150 BPM and count to 4 every second beat with the metronome.
