tempo in fruity loops??

ok i need to use the automation buton?how come that buton is on the patern 9 in the play list?

No you don't need to use the automation button. By automation button I'm
assuming you mean the recording mode button next to the stop button.

Pattern 9 is called 'Main Automation' by default but that's not where automations are sent. If you record an automation using record mode the automation will go into the pattern curently selected.
Give it a try. Start a new empty projetct and click the record mode button. It should turn orange. make sure song mode is selected & you are in pattern 1 then hit play.
While the song is playing, change the tempo a few times, just move it up and down for a bit. When you hit stop you should notice there's a block in pattern 1 in the playlist editor. Now, if you right click on the tempo and go to the event editor you can see the tempo changes you just made.
 
OK..well i managed to do it!Im not sure if i did it exactly like enchilada said but its working now.Tx alote for all your help Enchilada,its a lil harder for me to understand because im french..my english is not perfect.Anyway ill start another tread with other questions.. ;)
