tempo change

I have a song, a karaoke tune that someone wants to pick up the tempo a bit without raising the pitch. Should be able to. Can it be done in Sonar? I went into a Sonar project, I think under "special" edit tempo, but I'm not working it correctly I guess. Any clues?

Is it MIDI or audio?
 
Changing the tempo of audio without affecting the quality is difficult at best.

You can try using the Process>Length command, or the Process>Fit To Time and choose the stretch audio options in each. I don't believe either one affects the pitch, but as noted, don't expect stellar results.
 
Loop

Change the properties of each clip to allow you to stretch to project tempo - then change the tempo. This does take a bit of memory however.
