Hey Guys,
I suppose this will probably seem to be both a ridiculous and inconsequential question to most of you guys but, I've been staarting to try and re-mix tracks off of vinyl and while I'm able to tap out the tempo to the nearest bpm, it always seems to drift out of sync by the end of the track. I often can guess and check and align the wav so as to hit when it should, but it's hardly perfect. I was wondering if there was a funciton within my software (I use Cubase 5.1, Wavelab, and Sound Forge) that would allow me to select a wav and it would atomatically calculate it's tempo down to even the thousandth's place? Again I apologize if this seems an absolutely moronic question, and you're pissed I've wasted your time. Thanks for any ideas in advance!
