Yo man, I just read S8-N's post about people not being involved and I'm afraid I fit that description a little too well! I've got this problem of downloading and listening to peoples stuff but then I don't post a response. I'm gonna go back and respond to all the mp3s I did that to, if I can search back that far.
First of all, Dkorg, I'm pleased to see any new posts, especially from fellow new posters! I hope that you too can benefit from the amazing, living well of knowledge that I have been lucky enough to find here.
Listening to the pitter patter gives me this kind of Curish 80s type sensation. Very tasteful in a melodic way benefiting the nature of the instrument used, if that makes any sense! I also experienced the "bass notes" problem described by drstawl. How many lines did you record at a time? I mean, did you do individual takess or did you sequence parts to play together? I'm not familiar with the korg so parden me if I seem lost. I think that a little work on the mix would go a long way on an otherwise melodically 'on' song. I also agree with drstawl about the tones, very nice.
