just a little test I did.. i'm having real issue with the compression thing..

the composition is not really good.. I made all this in 2 hours

Whats goin on man. That sounds sick. I like the drums a lot. Snare sounds great. I like the guitar tone a lot too. What program did you record this on?

I'm using cubase 2 with guitar rig3 and ezdrummer (drum kit from hell).

I forgot to mention that the drum is a loop already made in ezdrummer.

for hardware I have a m-audio fast track pro and a jackson guitar.

That's sweet man. Ya the drum tracks sounds good man. Keep it up man. I love Jackson's. I use a Jackson 7 string all the time now.

Hey,

Here is what I would do: If you can control the snare compression, lighten up on it a bit. Also the sample for the kick drum doesn't exactly fit the metal style you are going for.

The guitars are way too intense! Bring the fader down. I also noticed that half way thru there is only one guitar and it is panned hard right, which is fine and a cool technique but usually people tend to bring another guitar in on the left after a few bars of guitar panned one way.
