ok folks heres a song thats still a work in progress but i would LLOOVVEE some feedback and be as brutally honest as you can (note i didnt say be as negative as you can ) id like to hear ideas on the mix, compression, eq etc and anything else you can think of. so let me know, thanks!

The intro is way too long unless you're gonna have something else happening in that first minute. The rest sounds like a kid having some fun with a Casio keyboard demo.

Aphex Twin with writer's block on Valium comes to mind. I don't like the piano tune. The song as a whole is a bit boring. But, I have to say I hear some fairly interesting experiments with sound here and there. Maybe, just maybe, if you keep working and writing music like this you'll actually be able to get something going. Listen to people who make similar music and try and learn from them as much you can. Don't give up.

I agree with Greg. Mostly just sounds like you're noodling around on a keyboard.

You've got some interesting things going on with panning. Although around the 2:00 mark you've got the synth that's carrying the melody hard panned to the right. That's always a bad idea in my book.

What's with the 30 seconds of dead air at the end?
