ok so if i need monitors which ones do you think i should buy ive been looking at the event tr5's are those any good .... blue bear i saw yours using krk's or something right.... how are those
 
I used to have KRK V8s ($1700/pr when I had bought them) - they were nice... but I replaced those in favour of the ADAM S2A's - and they're outstanding! ($4500.00 worth of outstanding, but well-worth it!)

I also have a pair of B&W 601s ($800/pair) - they're nice as a second reference.
 
do have any reccomendations for me (monitors) that are cheaper then what you were mentioning, like 400 bucks and down
 
dammit blue your studio sounds awsome i was just listening to the sample clips you got on your site and wow it sounds great... exspecially the vocals
 
how come youy don't have the Yorkville YSM-1 posted on your site
 
because Bluebear can afford way better monitors now.

yah, what kind of mics do you have btw? those might also make a good upgrade.

sell that sonic maximizer and get a sm-57 or put the money towards some monitors. Those things are nothing but trouble when recording.

Here we go again.
If the maximizer helps the sound, there is something wrong with the sound. Sell the Maximizer, it is both a crutch and a band-aid.
 
if you like outboard gear, sell it and at least get a compressor or something. mabye a new preamp?
