I saw these two mics on ebay and was wondering if anyone knows of them and if they have any practical use in the project studio.

Thanks

Never seen these mics before, but since they're equipped with DIN-plugs, these mics are made for homerecording use. The kind of homerecording done in the 60s or 70s, that is, eg. music for your slide show or super8 home movies. I wouldn't buy them, certainly not at that price. Telefunken made stuff for all levels, not just for professional use.

They look like a pair of mics that came with a consumer tape recorder from the late sixties.

300 seems rediculous to me.

Yeah i thought as much, i was kind of hoping they were sleepers but i dont think there is such a thing anymore.

Thanks

Yes, they are cheapo mics that came with consumer tape recorders. They pop up on the German Ebay site rather frequently, and score around $20 or so.

Surprising that the seller didn't uncoil the cable on one of them...

Bet there's a "remote - ON/OFF" switch on the body under all that cable? Hmm? Would explain the 5-pin too...
