I like making fun of teen angst so I made this unappropirately happy song. heh

Are the drums to high in the mix?

the hi-hatt is to loud
the basdrum is to soft
put up the lead vocal a bit
maybe 'dub' the rythem guit and put it on opposite side , a bit like as you did in the end of the song.

Funny!

I record High School Students sometimes, it is hilarious to hear them talk, sounds like your song. Overall the mix is pretty good. The kick (as stated previously) needs to come up to drive a little more.

I always bury the bassdrum because I will always do a low cut on it. I took that off completely and I cut a little treble off drum track. I compressed with vocals a little more and tried to put them up front a little more.

The vocal popping has me more concerned than the drums.

There is some ultra-low end muck going on... might be kick drum. Like some out of control 50hz or something.

Kick needs more punch. Snare needs some snap. High hat definately too loud.

Needs to be more lyrically insulting to be funny.
