Teac/Tascam 80-8

Hello people

Apologies if this has been covered again but I'm kind of desperate. My 80-8's record button has finally stopped working after months of being able to cheat it by operating the reed switch manual with a pair of tweezers. So I need to replace asap (especially as my band need to finish off some recordings yesterday!). Does anyone know where to get a replacement reed switch for the record button of a 80-8? Any info at all about them would be appreciated, especially if there's somewhere in the UK that has them. Thanks for reading!
 
You may have better luck posting this in the Analog Only forum below. Lots of people, who also own TEAC and TASCAM open reel recorders, hang out there.
 
Yep, I figured this wasn't something that "the other place" could cope with - too many jokes about b**bs and m*ms etc... :)
