Hey guys,
I've just spied a good deal on a TEAC A-1250 1/4" Reel to Reel. I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this model? I plan on using mainly for final mixdowns on demos, and to record through repro mode..
What do you guys feel is a good Reel to Reels to look out for in the under $100 bracket? What are your favourites?

Well under a 100 bucks is not easy. But for just a bit more (less than 150)
you can find tascam 22-2 two track. It will shine way above what a 1250 will and be closer to professional sounding. They come up for sale once in a while on ebay. They are fairly small and light so should not be a big problem for someone to pack and ship with out any damage.

cool. Thanks for the tip. I will keep an eye out.
