Teac 2340 preamps

Hi, are the mic preamps in my Teac 2340 reel to reel considered low quality?
I was considering trying them instead of the preamps in my Yamaha AW16g workstation. Any thoughts?

The mic pre's are not particularly good on those machines. Use the ones in your workstation.
