I apologize, really... its just that I don't have a manual and haven't had time to get one printed up yet, plus I don't have the internet at my studio right now so all I have is my little iphone and can't pull anything up.

So, I need to have a jumper from the send to the rcv on each channel? This means the signal goes out and back in? then to the board and onto the next channel?

IS that the same for the bus strips too then?

I really appreciate what you can tell me. That's what this is for right? :drunk:

Now it's time to drink and watch the Packers whoop it.

Every snd/rcv jack must be jumpered for the entire system to work as designed. Once installed, each input can then be routed to any bus or combination of buses via the assignment switches and each buss can then pass whatever is assigned to it/them to wherever it is patched.

I get the feeling that you don't know much about signal routing in general. Otherwise, this wouldn't be so foreign to you.

You're right, I don't know much about it, but you explained it well. Thanks. Wonder if I can just make some jumpers easily...Gotta get a copy of the manual in hand.

All you need is a short length of rca-rca cable.

So, lets say one of the input channels (or more) does not function, can the board still function with say, 20 channels?

Yes but I'd advise removing the bad channel from the motherboard so it burden the power supply in any way.

Okay, thanks!

So, to get this setup, I need to use jumper rca-rca cables on each input module and each bus module via the send/rcv jacks? That's it?

Know of any place that still has the metal jumpers?

Assuming there is nothing else wrong with the unit, that's it.

I have no idea where to get metal jumpers but the Model 15 I had had the same kind of cheesy jumpers as supplied on the Model 3. Keeping it stock is not essential anyway.

Sorry to bring this up again. So I was over messing with this mixer yesterday and still confused about a few things.

Now I understand that to have the board work properly as a whole unit I need to have jumpers from each of the 24 channels (or however many channels I want to use) going from the snd to the rcv on each strip.

Then I get to the bus section to do the same and add jumpers from the snd to rcv on each bus strip. After this is all done and the board is functioning as a whole, how do I send each bus track out individually to a converter?

It appears the bus channels only have one send out.

You have the AUX A and AUX B modules installed? Those have LINE OUT 1-4 and LINE OUT 5-8 on them respectively? Those are the buss out jacks.

You geta manual yet?
