TC Helicon VOICETONE harmonyG XT inputting for 2 guitars.

I know that the voice harmoniser is not a guitar or bass, but homerecording
advised me to post on this site.

The above harmoniser has an input for 1 guitar.
But when I perform, I play 2 guitars, a 6 string & a 12 string.
(not at the same time obviously.)
Each guitar has a seperate channel in the mixer.
Does anyone know of a method, switching or otherwise,
whereby I can run both guitars into the TC Helicon harmoniser
and then from the harmoniser to seperate channels in the mixer?
I have tried using Y cables in & out, but this does not work.
I would be greatful of any advice.
Thank you in advance.
Robert.

Use an A/B box backwards as 2 inputs and 1 output. The output of the A/B box runs into the guitar input of the TC, and the guitar thru of the TC runs into the mixer. Then you run the TC vocal outputs to the mixer. If you need a separate mixer channel for each guitar, run the TC guitar thru into another A/B box and then into the mixer.

Hello Ocnor, the 2 AB-Y boxes arrived today. Everything working fine. The only problem was a loud BANG when switching from A to B. Too much guitar gain on the TC Helicon Voicetone. Problem solved.
Thank you again for the advice.
Robert.
