Layer 7, I got the mpx g2 on ebay for 698.00 including shipping. Its probably worth the extra 200.00 to get the lexicon.

Anyway, I still havent played through it much yet, just enough to make sure it works. There are three ways to set her up from what I get so far, stand alone, direct to amp, to an amp and to an amps effects loop. I may have not had her set up right. Certain programs are designed to work with certain set ups and I dont know which are which yet. I used it with the X15 ultrafoot and I know they are not set up to communicate properly yet.
It did change settings though and everthing seems to be working together so far. Its sitting plugged in next to my computer so I can read the manual and get to it at the same time. The hard copy is 56.00 bucks from lexicon, I cant afford it yet.
One cool advantage over any of these units I have used so far is it will sort programs by name, number, guitar style, effect type, application and effect. Once you set it you can further filter according to the programs within those options.
Well, anyway, back to reading the manuals for both the foot controller and the mpx g2, I see it will be maybe up to a month before I have them programmed together and everything where I want it. Will keep ya posted.
This setup could be pretty intimidating to someone who has never done any of this before. I have used alot of sythesizers and work with CNC machine equipment most of my life and am familiar with parameters and routing etc., but for anyone who isnt, this could be a real daunting task. I dont have much time to devote to this task, I could probably finish it in three days or so if I had the time.

I am going to start a new thread, MPX G2, copy this reply into it and let this one die.
