taurus and midi pedals

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew where to get hold of some Taurus pedals?

Also, does anyone know of any other types of bass pedals (where the sound is actually in the instrument, as in the Taurus, opposed to midi controllers)

Or-does anyone know the cheapest brand of external midi controllers which are foot pedals?

My band needs one of these type of things, but I don't want to have to buy a keyboard too.

There is extremely little information on these things-if anyone has anything to say at all it will be greatly appreciated.

Wow, they are f'n expensive-just looked on ebay. You would think Moog (i think they are still around) would catch on and start producing them again.

If I were to buy a midi external controller, what would be the cheapest sythesizer I could buy? I hate to buy a keyboard for this-does anyone know of a good cheap bass module, or are there other options?

Any advice, again, would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time.
