hi,
i have a delta 66 that feeds into my VPR Matrix CPU and i use cubse sx...i was considering ditching the delta 66 and buying a 1010...but i was also lookin for a control surface...can i just use the tascam as a extension of sorts...inother words...can i combine the 66 with the tascam so i can have 10 tracks? Thanks everyone in advance

Hello fellow Jake!

I am not sure what the VPR Matrix CPU is but I think I get what you're asking.

I believe the two should work together if they are both compatible with cubase.

the only issue will be whether you can set one as the master and the other as the slave in terms of clock source so you don't get pops and stuff.

i have the us428, but i've never tried to run it in parallel with my audio card on my desktop. i've used the mixer functions, but not the recording/playback functions.

i use the 428 with my laptop to do recording outside of the studio.

thank you both...
note to fellow jake
the vpr matrix is a realy cool computer...its made completely of after market parts so they dont really skimp anywhere
... if anyone has more advice it is much needed! thanks again
-Jake
