Tascam US1800 with iPad?

Has anyone used the Tascam US1800 with the iPad and an iOS DAW to do simultaneous multi channel recording?
I am wondering if the Tascam would be recognized.

Not sure where you'd get drivers, but the new 16x08 has iOS drivers.
