I have a US-800 and it's working fine, but I'm wondering if there's a way I can turn off the built-in monitoring for the inputs?
For instance: When I'm recording a mic in Reason, I want to hear ONLY the sound played just through reason - with and EQ, effects, etc. Instead, I hear the dry mic signal layered on top of the wet/processed Reason signal. It records the wet signal correctly, but is there a way that I can monitor just what's happening in Reason, and not hear the dry mic input from the US-800 at the same time?
It seems like one way to do this would be if I could use a separate audio interface for Reason's output signal, but Reason won't let me select the US-800 for input and another device for output. (you just choose one audio device for both in and out)
What to do? Am I missing something really obvious? Cuz it feels like I am...
Any thoughts appreciated...
Thanks
