what is tha newest driver right now i got 3.30 for window xp pro

im having proplem w/tascam because it seems to b taking alot of my CPU power should i get a power usb hub

thaxs for your time
 
Without knowing the particulars of your system (memory/CPU/OS), there's really no way to correctly address this... :confused:

Rule of thumb tho...

When using your 428, you'll want to try and disconnect all other USB devices from your system. Even if you're not using them at the time, the computer sends little 'are you still here' messages to the components and various intervals which takes up bandwidth on the USB bus.
Keyboard/Mouse are fine to leave connected, but disconnect all else.
