I have a very stupid question but I have to ask it.
I recently bought a Tascam US 122L audio interface. So far I've gotten it to work just fine when recording my guitar. But I only hear the guitar out of my right earphone -- I take it this is because I'm recording the guitar into the right channel on the Tascam. Am I able to hear it as stereo in my headphones, and if so, how? I'm sure this is very basic...sorry.
As a bit of background on myself (since I'm new here), I used to record with Guitar Tracks Pro, with no interface. I had latency problems but at the time didn't know about audio interfaces so never knew to buy one. I was just able to find a workaround solution.
I've had to change recording software due to buying a new laptop that has Windows Vista. Guitar Tracks isn't supported on Vista. So I'm now using Mixcraft 4. When I couldn't get it to record properly at all, I discovered the interface solution.
I've been a musician most of my life, unfortunately I'm not a very technical one!
Thanks for your help.
