Tascam tsr-8 pinch roller removal

I've unscrewed the cap on my pinch roller but won't pull off easy like the other rollers. Is there a trick?

Should slide right off…it’s a precision fit, maybe some oxidation or dirt is on the shaft. I would carefully and conservatively drop a little penetrating oil into the joint between the bearings and the shaft, and gently tap around the bearing with the plastic handle of a small screwdriver or something similar and then try to remove again. Assuming you plan on replacing the bearings. If you’re not replacing the bearings skip the tapping part and just give it some time and try to remove it again.
