Tascam M512

Ok, here's the deal... I've got a Tascam M512 12 (12 channels, 8 buss), and can exchange it on a Behringer mx1804x and a audiotehnica condenser mic (at2020) the cheapest on the market, around 100 $ .
I'm recording bass, electric guitar, drum and vocals... and i'm kind of a novice... Ok, my question is should i do the trade, or stick with the Tascam...
I know that the value of the Tascam is superior... but wich one should do better for a rock band home recording?

The Tascam is worth around $2200.00......used...

The Behringer is worth $160.00 used.....

please....do the math...

you could possibly get an Onyx in trade.....done deal...
but why do you need more than 12 ins?
