Any opinions about the Tascam M-1508 8 channel board? I'm also considering an Alesis Studio 24, for my Otari 5050. Do they compare or is there a clear winner, so to speak?

I've used neither specific model but from previous posts I remember reading here in the past, the TASCAM would be the better sounding board by quite a wide margin.
