Hello,
Can anyone help me out with setting up the effects loop on a vintage Tascam M-106 mixing console? I tried using the following:
Tascam M-106 Effect Out > Locobox Choker Compressor > Earthquaker Ghost Echo > Tascam M-106 Effect Return
While testing on mic and drum machine input i just don't seem to get the effects coming throught the original source. I tried every possible position on the individual Channel Effect knobs, Effect Return Level knob and Master Effect knob. When i monitor the individual Effect source on the mixer monitor headphone all i hear is the original source.
Can it be that these stompbox effects are not compatible with the mixer? Or am i wiring something wrong? I know this mixer offers several possibilities to wire effects, the manual explains it quite clear, but i especially want to use one or two effects on several channels at the same time. The effect send/ return should be the way to achieve this, but how?
Can anyone help me solve this puzzle?
