tascam FW1884 first channel is buzzing

I have a tascam FW1884 and the first channel buzzes and i can not figure out how to stop it. all of the other channels work fine. i do not want to stay on the line for hours with tascam if i dont have to so if some one could help that would be great.

Sounds like a job for a QST...

or qualified sevice technician, unless you can open her up to see if a loose connection at input is the guilty party.
