Tascam DR-07mkII - recording into PC

I have a Tascam DR-07mkII which I have been using to record music. However, it would make life so much easier if when recording with the device, it would record onto a new track in the software I am using (Adobe Audition). Is this possible at all? Thank you!
 
The Tascam is a stand-alone recorder. After you record on it, you can transfer the files via USB to your computer, then do whatever you want with them. You cannot use the recorder as an interface as far as I am aware (recording direct to your computer using the tascam's mics).
