I have spent too many hours trying to fix this! I record guitar only. I buy backing tracks and record them from my computer onto track 1. Then I record the guitar parts and remaining tracks. With the Dp-24, when I plug my computer into track 1 and set the proper input (A in this case), the sound that I hear coming through to the DP-24 is really bad. It's got effects on it. I use the phones output from my laptop into input 1. The backing tracks sound great when I listen through phones. So, it's not a problem with the laptop. I have checked the effects on the DP and they all seem to be "OFF". I just want to be able to plug into an input and record the backing track onto track 1. I can't use USB to just move a WAV file over because some of the backing tracks come from Jammit.com and they don't allow you to save as a WAV. I would love to hear from someone, saying "hey, idiot, this is what you are doing wrong!"

I got this like ARAXIS, a couple of weeks ago when practicing singing from KARAOKE tracks on my IPAD.............

You need to make sure you are using a MONO adaptor into your channel.....

I get this same huge effects when I use a STEREO in.....

You can come out Stereo from computer, but use a MONO input on the Channel
