Hello,
I just bought this Tascam dp02cf and I am a beginner using it. I recorded 2 guitar tracks. I am using headphones output when recording. Now the question, it may be a stupid question but still, is there a way to mute or reduce the volume that you are hearing through headphones that comes from the signal you are recording . And I don´t mean to reduce the signal input. I simply would like to record some guitar parts so that I hear those other tracks playback but not the sound I am recording and it would still go to the track with the same volume as the other tracks. And I think my drummer will also say I don´t want the hear the drums from tascam while recording them. He just want to hear the guitar tracks. Is the rca lineout for monitoring the answer or some other output?
I have tascam 424 mk3 and it is so easy just to switch to *direct* and then you can use the master fader to control how much volume you want to hear from what you are just recording and use track knobs the adjust different track volumes. I am sure there is a simple solution and my apologies for this messy explaining.
