Hello,
Does anyone have one of these recorders? I have had one for quite sometime but really haven't used it as the
manual is very confusing, at least to me. It seems to skip around a lot.
Does anyone out there have some kind of a simple flow chart or at least be able to tell me step by step how to make a recording with it?
I understand assinging chanels and titleing but am unsure what I need to do first, second, etc

Not sure exactly what you want to know. You say you understand assigning channels, etc.....So,the simple answer is that the next thing to do is plug your instrument or mic in, press PLAY while holding down RECORD, and start playing. I have a feeling that's not what you're asking, but your post is un-clear to me in that case.
 
I guess what is confusing me is the order that you make the recording. Do I assign the chanel then create a title then record
or do I assign a chanel, record and then title it? Sorry if my post was unclear.

No problem. :cool:

It doesn't really matter when/if you title your tracks, as far as the recording process is concerned. You have to assign before you record, obviously. Title them before, after, or later if you want.
 
Oh ok. I guess the manual is just going through the different things you can do, such as titling. Then is goes into assinging tracks
and then recording. I guess that where I got confused. I'll try just assinging then recording and see what happens.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Shit man, you know what? I read DP-24. I'm not familiar with the DP-02. I got to get my eyes checked. Hopefully, I didn't stear you wrong. It might be the same process I mentioned, but hopefully someone will come in and correct me if it's not.

Thanks for the info. I just made my first recording. I had to create a title, assign tracks and record. When I saved it give the option to rename the track. There is a lot more I can do with it now that I understand the process a little.
I'll check out those tutorials!
