Tascam DP-01FX

Hi all

just bought a Tascam DP-01FX, when I'm plugged directly into the front of the unit with my guitar, it is unamplified. How where can I plug in from an amp? It say's not to in the manual but surely I can play through an amp and hear it amplified and be recording that sound rather than unamp?

I am not at all good with technology.

I have just brought a Tascam DP-01FX and still reading the manuel , managed to get the demo working and sounds great so far.

Last year I was going to buy the mini disk multi track recorder, would you rate them?
Would you say that this one is far better.
