Tascam DM3200 - Plugins Control and Automations

Hello everyone, last question on the Tascam dm3200 with Protools: I would mix in protools plugins with the Tascam, I'll explain: I wish I could change the parameters of plugins not with the mouse, but with the Tascam DM3200 (eg fx intensity, automated fx etc etc) Who helps me?

Hi Marco - I have read in a number of forums that you can't. Even if you had the DM4800, which has the "fat channel" section, you are not able to access those knobs as controls for your DAW plugins. From what I've read, the onboard EQ is somewhat cumbersome to apply and is likely surpassed by the quality of your plug-in EQs.

This isn't the worst news in the world - the Novation Nocturn is an expensive sidekick ($99US) to your DM3200. You gain full control of your plug in EQs and still get to enjoy the high quality motorized faders and extensive routing capability of the DM series.
