Tascam CD-RW-700 Any comments ?

I have been thinking about buying a good CD-burner for transfer tapes etc, and have anyone experience with this model ?
Reliable or ?

They're ok I guess

I bought mine used and the analog pots are in need of repair/cleaning? I only have used it for recording SPDIF using input from my minidisc or mindprint. I guess I'd rate it as "prosumer". I'd rather have a HHB, as that has XLR inputs and I would assume a better front-end. I only paid about $200 for mine so I guess I could spring to get it fixed up. I asked another Tascam owner and he had the same problem with his, but he had his fixed while under warrantee.
 
I got one used and it hasn't given me any problems. I rather like it. Easy to use, easy to understand, and gets the job done. Sure, if I had big bucks its not what I would get, but for a guy with his first DA-38 and a Yamaha MG16/6FX it suits me just fine.
