Tascam 488MKII used as PA Mixer

Has anyone ever used a Tascam 488 MKII as a mixer for a PA and if so, what is the best way to do this.....

Doesn't it only have like, two mic inputs? :confused:

You must be in an all electronic instruments band.
 
Nah it has 4 if its a mkII and 2 extralarge ones. By the way Mark 7 im from Leicester too. Just thought id say hi.
 
At last! Someone who'll understand what the hell I'm talking about when I say that AOS sucks for Audio gear! Esp' Mikes.

Four eh? Still not that many.
 
It has only two xlr in's and the rest are 1/4". My brother is actually looking for alternative method at rehearsal since his pa head blew up. It does the trick for now. Just not the ideal rig....
