the right cable should do it. Main Outs to Main Ins? I used to hook my 424 up to the PC. Should be the same principle.

I just registered to ask the same question. I have a computer with a burner on it. What would be the compatability problems if any? I have a double rca to a 1/8" input would that work. Also will my mixdown be in stereo or mono.

double rca connected to the Tascam plus a 1/8" plug connected to the Line-In of the soundcard should work fine, assuming that is the size of plug the soundcard takes.

If the 1/8" inch plug is a stereo plug and the soundcard Line-In is stereo too the mixdown will be in stereo.

Yes, just did it

Just hooked my portaone line outs to a pioneer CD recorder ($186 new yo!) and presto-out comes a CD. Neglible loss of quality.
