hi, i have got a tascam 414mk 11. i have managed to record on it but i cannot play the tape in a normall tape player coz when i do it is slow and sounds stupid what can i do to resolve this problem ?

You don't. The 414 only records at 3.75 IPS.

Also, the Tascam records tracks 1 and 2 on side A of the tape, and tracks 3 and 4 on side B, so if even if you record it at standard speed, you'll only get tracks 1 (which would be on the left side) and track 2 (on the right side) to play. If you flip to side B, you'll get tracks 3 and 4 BUT backwards! You need to mixdown to a stereo cassette recorder. Buy a book on home recording, this is all pretty basic stuff.
