I recently got a tascam 388 for 700 bucks in pretty decent condition. I replaced the pinch roller and belt and got it up and running fine. Then i go to play back a recording i had made to test it out and when in stereo the sound only comes out of the right stereo out and only shows up on the right Vu meter. I have taken off the bottom and used contact cleaner to get rid of some rust, as well as plugging in a card that seemed to be disconnected and still nothing. Any ideas on what the problem is. And if i need to solder, where would the problem be located ?? Thanks !
