TASCAM 388 - more problems

hi, i've just fixed a transport issue in my tascam 388, but it has more problems:

first: gain control works backwards on EVERY channel. so if i turn it fully clockwise i have minimun gain. Not really an issue to me since i can live with it.

second: the machine doesn't play/record. Transport is ok, and i have a working 388 so i know the right steps to record.

things i've already checked/done:

1 fuses are OK
2 reseated power supply, reel servo PCBs
3 reseated channels 1\3 2/4 5/7 6/8PCBs

any ideas or suggestions?

Actually it play/record only on tracks 5 and 7.
I've already swapped pcb 5/7 with another, but
Things are the same. It just play/records
On tracks 5/7
