Tascam 388 foot switch

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to get a line on a switch that will activate and de-activate the record button on my tascam 388 for punch-ins when I am solo recording. Do I need to use a real deal or will any switch suffice? They are somewhat pricey.

If it's the RC30P you're looking for, any pedal with a momentary contact push-to-make switch should do the job. I just tried on my TSR-8 using a PS160 pedal I had kicking around, and the deck was quite happy with it.
