Anyone got one? Is it "illegal" to send/email me a copy? Thanks.

I don't think it's "illegal" but that many either don't have one, in electronic form or it's too much work to actually photocopy / scan etc....... You best bet is to shell out a few bucks and buy one direct from TASCAM Parts (323) 727-4840

Technically, it is copyrighted material and sending/copying is illegal. But, the same people who flame the hell out of others for using cracked software regularly copy and share copyrighted material as well as record copyrighted songs, play them in public with no compensation to the artist etc.

I have the operating/service manuals for several Teac/Tascam recorders and mixers that I bought from them a while ago. So, I figure if I paid the money to buy them from the company, I can resell another copy of it to someone else who needs one, especially as the products that are being referred to here have long been discontinued by the company, and based on how seemingly poor their customer service is regarding obsolete analog equipment made 20-30 years ago, I dont think they really care much about xerox copies being resold.

So, if you want a copy of the 38 manual, just let me know. I dont recall what I paid for it at the time I ordered it, but its quite alot of pages, many of them fold out pages, so it'll take some time to copy, thus I'd like to be compensated $$ for it. Nothing outrageous, maybe $25 or something like that. If you just want the operating instructions, and not the service manual which has all the diagrams and parts lists, it'll be less stuff to copy, so copying cost would be lower. Your choice.
