tascam 34 reel to reel mixer?

Hello everyone just wondering about mixers for a tascam 34 i just bought what would work best . i do have a makie mixer would it work with it or should i try and find a compatible mixer ive heard many different things

A Mackie should work fine. The number of inputs, aux sends/returns, & flexibility of the eq will determine how convenient it is to use on a daily basis.
