I have not been able to find a review of this model. Before I drop some cash on it I would like to hear what people think of it.
 
I bought one used a few months ago and really like it so far. I wish panning was handled via analog-style pots rather than via a menu screen and I'm not excited by the onboard effects, but it's a solid unit. Eight inputs, two effect sends, MIDI sync capability, a mixdown/"mastering" stage, and the ability to output audio tracks as .wav files for DAW processing...great stuff.

Here I am! I had trouble finding a phone-booth so I can change into my Super-Hero out-fit. :D

I don't have the NEO, just the original 2488. I've been beating that thing to do death over the last 6-8 years or so. It's an awesome machine, as far as stand-alones go.
