TASCAM 2488 recording ?

Can I pre-master and title individual songs on a 2488 from a “recorded live”, twelve song continuous set, and add them each eventually to a TAO (Track At Once) then burn them to a CDR, one at a time, finalizIng at the end? Would I need to pre-master/check/master each song from the full set before selecting to Burn ? I do have a manual, and understand setting in & out points, and the mastering procedure, but don’t want to lose a great recording.
