Tascam 2488 neo problems with Exporting and Importing to Computer

Need to know what's wrong with the Tascam 2488 neo Exporting and Importing features. When I connect the USB cable to my computer to the Tascam 2488 neo it want show up on my computer, I get malfunction alert and it do not show up as a removeble device on my computer as the manual has indicated, I can not export any files from the tascam to my computer, what could be wrong? :(
 
You have to enable the USB connection on the Neo. See pg 81 of the manual.

Once the connection is open, the Neo will show up as a disk drive but only the FAT partition will be accessible. You have to export the tracks to the FAT first. Once all this is done it’s simply drag-n-drop.
