My friend's dad has a Tascam 2488 II and he has been trying to record and mix within it but wants to be able to use it as an interface into a DAW. I told him to get fl studio because I know how to use it, but I can't figure out how to get fl to recognize the tascam in the ins/outs. Is this even possible? We also tried to take recorded tracks and import them in fl, but in the hd of the tascam only 6 waves of mixes are shown when the entire hd on the tascam is nearly filled. We can't figure out how to get recordings from the individual channels into fl. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
