Tascam 244 Question

I just bought a Tascam 244 4 track cassette on ebay.
I bought this to try and play some cassettes I created on a Fostex 260 that I sold years ago and forgot to transfer those to another medium.

Question:

Will the tascam play the Fostex created tapes?

Tascam 244 Update

Well I got the unit (Tascam 244). The only thing wrong with it was the belts... so I replaced them. It plays the Fostex 260 created tapes, but the speed is all jacked up. So I have a very nice Tascam 244 that is useless to me. Oh well.... it maybe a nice machine to have around for small projects.

Try recording it into a DAW and then slow it down digitally.
