What are the differences between a 122 and the mkII/mkIII versions of the same deck?

I think the upgrades support 24bit/96khz where the original US 122 was 24/48khz only.

Damn. Sorry about the confusion. I'll have to correct the title. I was referring to the rack mounted cassette recorder. I appreciate the info, but I haven't gotten around to upgrading my PC just yet.......

C'mon man, you know cassettes are 8 bit. I used one with my Commodore 64.
